Cam Battley is Managing Director of MedReleaf Australia, reporting to the CEO, and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the company. He previously served first as Senior Vice President, then Executive Vice President and finally Chief Corporate Officer for Canada-based Aurora Cannabis, between March of 2016 and December of 2019. Before joining Aurora, at the outset of Canada’s legal medical cannabis system, he worked for the companies Canopy Growth Corporation and Bedrocan Canada.

Prior to moving into the medical cannabis sector, Mr. Battley spent more than 15 years working in the global biopharmaceutical industry in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Medical Cannabis Industry Association, later renamed as the Cannabis Council of Canada. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Aither Ingredient Corp. and of South African patient advocacy group Campaigning for Cancer. He has been a boys’ and girls’ soccer coach and a Scout leader for 10 years, and is a trail runner and PADI certified Rescue Diver.
